About Us

Broken Biscuits is a vet-led, UK registered charity supporting disabled dogs and the people who love them. We stand up for the “broken biscuits” — the dogs who are too often overlooked or left behind after life-changing injury or illness.

Every year, thousands of dogs across the UK lose their mobility due to injury, illness or congenital conditions. Too often, families are told there are few options. Too often, these dogs are simply given up on.

We believe a life-changing injury should not have to mean a life-ending one.

With the right care, rehabilitation and equipment, disabled dogs can live happy, active and fulfilling lives — and families can stay together. Our mission is simple: keep life rolling on.

Broken Biscuits works alongside veterinary professionals and rehabilitation experts across the UK to help disabled dogs regain mobility, independence and confidence. Through education, practical support, specialist mobility equipment, access to pioneering facilities, and a passionate network of experts and volunteers, we help dogs get back to doing what they love most — running, exploring and living life alongside their families.
