How You Can Help
The Broken Biscuits Sanctuary
The Broken Biscuits Sanctuary is home to more than 24 dogs and cats with ongoing care needs.
Caring for these animals is a full-time commitment. Many residents have complex medical or mobility issues, and some are incontinent, requiring frequent bedding changes throughout the day.
To keep up with their care:

Animals require two meals every day

Bedding often needs to be changed multiple times daily

Our washing machines and dryers run up to 15 loads every day
Because of this, we are constantly in need of clean bedding, washing powder, and reliable laundry equipment. Machines wear out quickly due to heavy use and must be replaced regularly.
On top of this are the ongoing costs of:

Veterinary visits

Medication and treatments
-
Grooming and specialist care
Food alone costs over £40,000 per year, as many sanctuary residents require special diets, specialised food, and fresh meat.
Every donation helps us continue providing the care these animals rely on.

We are always grateful for in-kind donations that help us care for our sanctuary residents. Items we regularly need include:
Bedding: Duvets, towels, sheets, dog beds
Cleaning & Laundry Supplies: Washing powder, bin bags, bleach, paper towels, food, dry and wet dog food, dry and wet cat food
We are also currently developing our Disabled Dog Park and welcome donations of building materials such as: Sand, aggregate, concrete or postcrete, fence posts and fence panels, timber and paint
